Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation aims to raise the moral, scientific and intellectual level of the society. To protect and develop the historical and cultural heritage of our nation, to organize conservations and meetings that ensure love, respect, unity and solidarity among the individiuals of the society. To provide all kinds of material and moral aid in kind, in cash, in food, clothing, health, education, fuel,rent shelter, marriage, starting a home, starting a business, establishing a soup kitchen, housing and other issues to those in need in disasters, wars, famines and ordinary situations that occur in our country and in the world. It works to support all kinds of activities that will benefit people. Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation also shows its sensitivity in these studies regarding the security of personal data. With this awareness, it attaches great importance to the processing, preservation and deletion of private and general personal data of our visitors in all kinds of media in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, the secondary regulations (regulations, communiqués, circulars) enacted and to be enacted in accordance with the law, and the binding decisions taken and to be taken by the Personal Data Protection Board. With the awareness of this responsibility and in the capacity of "Data Controller" as defined in the Law, we process your personal data as explained below and within the limits prescribed by the legislation.

1. DATA RESPONSIBILTIY

• When necessary, it is processed within the limits specified in the Law for the purposes of providing the information needed by the relevant public institutions and organizations, judicial or administrative judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies, in accordance with the law, honesty rules and always connected, limited and measured for these purposes.

3. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA 

Your personal data may be transferred to real and legal persons permitted by the legislation, other authorized public institutions and organizations, judicial and administrative judicial authorities, law enforcement agencies, institutions and organizations with which we have a business relationship, authorities and relevant ministries related to education and humanitarian aid activities and humanitarian aid associations with the same purpose, project partners, outsourced consultancy, technology and training companies in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, within the scope of the above-mentioned purposes.

4. METHODS AND LEGAL REASONS FOR  COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with paragraphs 2/a-c-ç-e-f of  Article 5 and paragraph 3 of Article 6 of the Law, the special and general personal data specified in the table above are processed on the condition that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed and based on the legal reason of legitimate interests of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation.

5. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS UNDER THE LAW

You can apply to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation at any time to find out what you are curious about these articles regarding your personal data.

• Learn whether it is processed, the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, and if it has been processed, request information on this matter, 

• In accordance with the Law, it may learn about third parties in Turkey and abroad with whom your information is shared,

• If you believe that your information is incomplete or incorrectly processed, you may request correction, 

• It may request the deletion or destruction of your information within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law, 

• You may request third parties to whom your information is transferred to be notified of your requests specified in subparagraphs (c) and (d) and to perform the same actions.

If your application for these purposes requires an additional cost, you will be required to pay the fee determined by the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller issued by the Personal Data Protection Board. Your requests in your application will be finalized as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. In order to benefit from your rights under the Law, you can submit your applications to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation in writing, provided that they are in Turkish, and you can visit the website of the Personal Data Protection Authority for detailed information.
